Important update: Proposed postponement of EUDR implementation
On 2nd October, the European Commission proposed postponing the application (enforcement) date for the EUDR by one year. If approved, the regulation will apply to most businesses from 30 December 2025, and from 30 June 2026 for some small and microenterprises. We will continue to provide updates as further developments occur.
This regulation applies to companies placing relevant commodities or products on the EU market, or exporting them from it. They will need to demonstrate that their products are deforestation-free, and not linked to forest degradation, nor illegal harvesting and trade.

We have partnered with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to launch a protocol for managing geolocation data in global supply chains. This protocol serves as a tool to support global efforts aimed at improving product traceability and sharing sustainability information along commodity supply chains, while also meeting regulatory requirements such as the EUDR and other upcoming regulations. Using the protocol may help to accommodate the EUDR's requirements concerning the geolocation of harvesting plots.
