With a strong background in sustainable farming, agricultural product processing, development of sustainability standards and assurance modules, and supply chain compliance, Yongyong brings valuable expertise to the team. Yongyong holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Products Processing and Preservation, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, both from China Agricultural University.
Before joining Preferred by Nature, Yongyong worked as a consultant for two years, specialising in EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and ESG compliance, as well as sustainable standards. Additionally, Yongyong spent eight years with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), where they contributed to partnership development, strategic planning, operations, standardisation and assurance, supply chain traceability, and impact assessment.
