Peiying Zhou
Peiying is responsible for providing advisory services to clients in the timber sector, and for providing support to LegalSource and ResponsibleSource services in China.
Peiying provides support to companies choosing to mainstream sustainability into their business practices by scheduling and implementing risk assessment and mitigation activities, aimed at meeting the requirements of the EU Timber Regulation.
Previously, she worked with the European Forest Institute’s EU FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade) Facility Beijing office as a Project Officer. In this role, she gained rich experience in timber legality related projects, especially in EUTR, FLEGT (VPAs) and China-EU Bilateral Mechanism related activities. She has vast knowledge and understanding of the international timber legality requirements.
Peiying Zhou joined Preferred by Nature in 2019.
