Jess Chen Hong
Jess Chen provides administrative and HR support to Preferred by Nature staff in China. Beyond administrative tasks, she is also responsible for preparing and submitting different accounting reports and financial statements.
Other duties include coordinating certification audits for Preferred by Nature Assurance within East Asia, under the supervision and guidance of Regional Managers, and providing support for training events. She also helps to translate Preferred by Nature toolkits and documents into local versions.
Jess has more than 20 years of experience in logistics and administrative duties, whereby she worked for 10 years in a non-profit organisation. She is familiar with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) and Timber Trade Action Plan (TTAP) as she provided assistance for activities in projects and international seminars in her previous roles. Jess is also familiar with certification schemes such as FSC, FSC CoC and PEFC.
Jess joined Preferred by Nature in November 2019.
