Guangxin Wang
Guangxin’s role is mainly to oversee the maintenance of third-party accreditations for Assurance services. She interacts with accreditation bodies, serves as a liaison between accreditation bodies and our Assurance division teams, develops and revises procedures required for accreditation maintenance, and supports implementation of internal quality monitoring of Assurance units.
Guangxin is also responsible for managing our certification body business in China in compliance with local requirements and maintaining our services approved by the Chinese government.
Guangxin works with the Quality and Assurance teams to ensure successful and efficient maintenance of third-party accreditations, serving as a liaison with accreditation bodies for auditing, inquiries and other accreditation issues.
Guangxin has over 11 years working experience in the sustainability sector. After graduating with a Master's degree in Forest Management from the Chinese Academy of Forestry, she has worked with a number of international NGOs and industry associations working on issues of responsible timber trade and the EU Timber Regulation.
She has also played a leading role supporting supply chain transparency, and addressing social and environmental challenges, in the cobalt industry. Guangxin has extensive experience working with companies to improve communication with their supply chains, supply-chain mapping methodologies, risk assessment and mitigation. Guangxin was also engaged in the whole process of the application of our China office to be a certification body.
