NEPCon is co-launching a new project which aims to empower local NGOs to promote sustainable development in Belarus. The project has special focus on the role of NGOs in promoting credible eco-labelling schemes. 

The FSC has launched a revised draft version of its Policy for the Association with FSC (Version 3-0 of FSC-POL-20-002).

Recently, an FSC certificate covering nearly 814,000 hectares was issued by the Rainforest Alliance for the company ZAO Zapkarelles, the majority share of which is owned by the FLEXA group.

FSC-certified companies should be aware that the new set of rules for the promotional use of the FSC trademarks, TMK is mandatory as of 1 January 2008.
