The education of forest certification for the livelihoods of surrounding forest communities and on the sustainable development of the industry is close to my heart. I enjoy educating my clients on the impact their certification has on long-term sustainability. I may be an auditor, but I also consider myself an educator for all, as knowledge is the key to moving forward and making better decisions for our planet.
Andreanne provides chain-of-custody services in English and French to clients in both US and Canada.
Andreanne began her career in 2014 as a research associate, working on federally-funded projects aimed at the conservation of both working and nonworking forests owned by small private landowners of the southeastern United States, specifically by exploring biomass and carbon market policies.
She is also experienced in conducting and analysing surveys with supply-chain stakeholders from the US fisheries from her role as a research assistant with North Carolina Sea Grant. Her thesis assessed the impact of forestry-related ordinances on forest management in Florida. She has travelled to the southern parts of Brazil to study working forests and their associated certification processes.
Andreanne joined Preferred by Nature in October 2018.
