Léa, as part of the Responsible Sourcing team, works with a range of clients in order to meet their legal requirements as well as sustainability commitments when sourcing forest linked or agricultural commodities.
Since very young, I have always been sensitized and dedicated to the respect and protection of the environment. I love working for Preferred by Nature where I can contribute to a team that is making a meaningful impact on the environment and society, encouraging business practices that benefit people, nature and climate.
Léa provides advisory services to clients in the timber industry and other natural resources sectors. More specifically, supporting the development and implementation of policy and tools development, helping with the mapping out of risk assessments as well as conducting training and verification audits.
Léa has a background in international and European environmental law. She worked with NGOs and European institutions on several sustainability topics related to EU legislation (agriculture, forestry, health...). She also has experience in certification and auditing (on fair trade, sustainable sourcing schemes notably).
Léa joined Preferred by Nature in 2024.
