Roman Verin
Roman has over a decade of experience in sustainability and forest management, contributing to Preferred by Nature’s growth and global initiatives. His expertise spans auditing, business development, and strategic advisory roles, complemented by a strong academic background in natural resources, ecology and management.
Roman joined Preferred by Nature in 2013. Since then, he has been involved in various aspects of the organisation's activities, serving as an auditor, legal entity manager, deputy business development director, regional director, and contributing to different working groups supporting global development. Roman now serves as Senior Executive Advisor to the CEO and Management Group of Preferred by Nature.
Before joining Preferred by Nature, Roman was the First Deputy General Director of a forestry holding company managing over 1 million hectares of FSC-certified forests. He holds two higher education degrees - one in natural resources and ecology, and the other in management.
