Patrick Hildebrandt
Patrick is a Supply Chain Specialist for Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) / Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody audits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
As a Supply Chain Specialist in Preferred by Nature, Patrick's main task is to manage, conduct and administrate FSC/PEFC Chain of Custody audits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Moreover, he supports the Market Development of Preferred by Nature services within this region.
Following vocational training as a carpenter, Patrick completed a Master's degree in Forest and Wood Science and a PhD in Forest Sciences at the School of Forest Science and Resource Management, Technical University of Munich.
He has been working for several years in research on forest economics and silvicultural topics. As such, Patrick has had the opportunity to work in financial optimisation of tree species mixtures in Chilean forestry as well as reforestation in the Tropical Mountain Forest of Southern Ecuador.
