Levin supports Preferred by Nature´s clients to meet their sustainability and responsible sourcing commitments. He delivers a range of different sustainability services focusing on forest and agricultural commodities and supply chains for businesses working with Preferred by Nature.
As a Sustainability Analyst, Levin’s role includes advisory services to clients in the timber, palm oil, rubber, coffee, cocoa, textiles, soy, beef and other natural resource sectors to support them in their goals to meet sustainability and responsible sourcing commitments and legal requirements (such as the new EU Deforestation Regulation).
Levin’s main tasks include corporate policy development and alignment, development of due diligence tools, benchmarking activities, training delivery, gap analyses of client due diligence systems, supply chain engagement, developing and implementing traceability and mapping systems, along with validation activities and risk assessments.
In his auditing role, Levin performs desk and on-site verification audits against established standards and conducts comprehensive factory, mill, and forest/farm verification audits, ensuring organisations adhere to their internal and regulatory benchmarks. His work is vital in guiding companies towards responsible and sustainable practices.
