Timothy Bender
Timothy is part of Preferred by Nature’s Regulatory Impact Programme the goals of which are to ensure positive impacts within the landscape of regulatory and policy compliance. He also supports Preferred by Nature’s Tailored Services programme, helping clients align their operations with EUDR requirements and implement a robust due diligence system.
Timothy’s work involves staying up to date with key regulatory developments in the fields of forestry, climate, and the environment. He supports stakeholders by developing tools and training, particularly focusing on the EU Deforestation Regulation, and provides advisory services to companies, helping them with their responsible sourcing efforts. Additionally, he provides expertise and technical input to Preferred by Nature’s donor-funded projects.
Timothy holds a master’s degree in Environment and Development and joined Preferred by Nature in April 2023.
