Supply Chain Specialist
As a Traceability Auditor in Preferred by Nature, Nina is involved in conducting audits against the Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) standards.
Focusing on supply chain audits for a portfolio of our clients in Denmark, Nina's responsibilities covers the entire audit process, including on-site visits and client interviews.
As an educated generalist, Nina has worked with a broad range of topic/task/projects, mostly in the building sector. Right from her childhood, she has always been surrounded by wood - largely contributed by her family being involved in the lumber yard/timber merchant.
"Independent third party certification is, to me, a very important role in certification systems performance. The best way to demonstrate/document sustainable forest management and the wood-based products in the supply chain is for companies to commit to certification. I want to be part of a team and non-profit organisation that works for better use of our resources and see companies committing to sourcing sustainable wood. By working as an auditor, I hope to contribute to a world where people manage forest sustainable."
