Karen Brenner
Karen, is responsible for the delivery of forest management certification activities in the US. Karen manages our Forest Management staff in the US and supports the delivery of forestry services in Preferred by Nature.
Karen manages complex forest management certificates, leads audit teams, and provides technical support for US forest management work including training, quality monitoring and systems improvements.
Karen has over 30 years of experience as a forester including prescribed/wildland fire, timber sale planning and administration, reforestation and timber stand improvement, and writing management plans for large public lands, tribal lands, and non-industrial landowners. She has over 20 years of experience with forest certification.
In addition to serving as an auditor and a trainer, her experience includes participating in technical working groups and providing consulting services for standard development.
