In his role as a Sustainability Specialist at Preferred by Nature, Suan provides advisory services to clients across various sectors, including biomass, timber, palm oil, textiles, soy, and beef. He supports these clients in meeting their sustainability commitments and complying with legal requirements, such as the EU Deforestation Regulation and UK Timber Regulation.

As a Team Leader, Suan's primary responsibility is to supervise data collectors and field facilitators, ensuring the reliability and quality of the data gathered from farmers and dealers. He also provides biweekly reports to the project manager, following Preferred by Nature's guidelines and protocols. To maintain data quality and accuracy, Suan conducts regular coordination with the team and makes field visits for data validation.

With a background in social sciences, Suan is passionate about fostering sustainable communities. He believes that combining environmental protection with community engagement is key to preserving natural and cultural resources, thereby improving the quality of life for all.

Suan has extensive experience working with both local and international NGOs on development projects that uplift vulnerable communities. His expertise includes building social capital, enhancing human capital, and improving access to financial resources—particularly for agricultural workers, the self-employed, lowland farmers, and those living near forests in upland regions.
