Tim Roelandts
Tim conducts Chain of Custody (CoC) audits for FSC, PEFC, RSPO and LegalSource, as well as some Due Diligence assessments, mainly in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Before joining Preferred by Nature, Tim worked as FSC, PEFC and RSPO Lead Auditor for supply chain and traceability in Belgium and the Netherlands.
After completing Preferred by Nature LegalSource Expert course, he has been doing EUTR (EU Timber Regulation) risk assessments for a variety of supply chains and Due Diligence systems.
Tim brings with him extensive experience with the European timber sector, wood and paper industry, helping companies obtain certification and advising on the EUTR.
Tim holds a Master’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in International Politics from the University of Leuven. He joined Preferred by Nature in 2017.
