Michal is responsible for planning and conducting Chain of Custody certification assessments.

Michal studied Environmental Studies in Technical University in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry and Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences. During his studies, he interned as a field researcher of primary forests in the Carpathian Mountains. He also completed his internship monitoring dust deposition in Iceland.  

He authored and co-authored several research papers documenting forests and meadow ecosystems, snow cover, precipitation and forest fires. His past work experience includes a scientific researcher; an operator in a furniture company; and self-employed cloud-based data mapper.

Michal joined Preferred by Nature in 2020.
