Luu Cong Sang
Forestry Officer
Luu Sang is a Forestry Officer in the USAID-funded Sustainable Forests Development Project, based in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam.
In his role as a Forestry Officer, Luu Sang is involved in supporting smallholder forest owners, forestry nurseries, forestry companies and cooperatives in Quang Nam to improve their production forest management capacity through obtaining the Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) certification on sustainable forest management.
He also contributes to the project by improving silvicultural techniques, improving the quality of forest plant varieties, as well as establishing and operating a plantation forest risk support fund and piloting internal forest insurance.
