Ngan prepares bookkeeping documents and calculations, ensures recording of financial transactions in Preferred by Nature’s finance system, and communicates with relevant internal and external parties. She also prepares and submits the financial reports needed for Preferred by Nature’s management, project managers and country managers. Together with the Finance Team she sets up and manages the framework to deliver clear, valid and transparent financial reporting for Preferred by Nature Project Division, to ensure that senior management and project managers always have a unified, accurate and updated overview of our financial performance on the projects.

Ngan’s first job as an External Finance Auditor at Deloitte Vietnam has equipped her with professional knowledge and soft skills which made her more confident to take new challenges later on in her career. After that, she volunteered for two months in Sri Lanka where she worked as an English teacher and at the same time met new friends and travelled to new places.

Upon coming back to Vietnam, she worked for VVOB Vietnam, an NGO working in education and development, as a Finance Officer. In this international working environment, she learned about the organisation structure and finance work as well as got a better understanding of the importance and meaningful contribution of the NGO to the society development.

Numbers, accounting and auditing are part of Ngan’s interest and passion. She graduated from Accounting-Auditing at National Economics University in Hanoi, Vietnam. After that, she studied GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) which aims at assessing analytical writing and problem-solving abilities, while also addressing data sufficiency, logic, and critical reasoning. Currently she is studying Certified Internal Auditor which is a globally recognised certification for internal auditors.

Ngan joined Preferred by Nature in January 2017.
