Charles is our Country Representative for UK and Ireland and is focused on growing Preferred by Nature's profile and business by developing strategic partnerships.
Charles acts as the Country Lead for Preferred by Nature in the UK and Ireland, representing the organisation in all sectors with a key focus on certified timber and paper supply chains.
Charles is the eyes and ears and a key influencer for Preferred by Nature in the region, pro-actively marketing and selling its range of services and enhancing Preferred by Nature’s reputation as a well-known, respected and credible organisation within the region.
Charles is also focused on client and stakeholder relationship management and regional development, including contributing to strategic and business development plans for the region, providing regional input to policy development; identifying opportunities to increase Preferred by Nature’s impact with new services and in new markets; fostering new alliances and developing network capacity with local NGOs, and other stakeholders.

Charles has a broad and deep knowledge of the forest products industry certification landscape and standards, gained over 20+ years and hundreds of audits. He will mentor Preferred by Nature’s auditors in UK and Ireland and will lead the more complex audits.
