Mike is responsible for Chain of Custody auditing for companies within Preferred by Nature's Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) certification schemes in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Mike’s main duties include planning, conducting and administering supply chain audits for the FSC Chain of Custody system as a Supply Chains Specialist. Further responsibilities include providing customer support services to clients. Mike has participated in various training programs since he joined the company to support the delivery of certification to Preferred by Nature’s wide client portfolio.

Skills at a glance
- Mike has been working in forestry and nature conservation sector since 2016, and holds a BSc degree in Forestry.
- Mike has a wide variety of knowledge and practical experience in environmental land management.
- Prior to working for Preferred by Nature, Mike was the Forest Operations Manager for a woodland/sawmill cooperative in North Wales, where they specialized in low-impact silvicultural systems and the production of high-quality sawnwood.
