Arturo Burgos
Arturo is responsible for conducting forest management (Forest Stewardship CouncilTM - FSCTM) and chain of custody (FSC, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification - PEFC) audits.
As a Forestry Specialist in Preferred by Nature, Arturo manages certification audits and assessments for forestry businesses. He is involved in developing, implementing and managing annual audit programmes and ensuring timely and efficient completion of audits.
In his role, Arturo ensures quality control and compliance with Preferred by Nature's technical and administrative certification protocols.
On top of that, Arturo assists the Senior Regional Manager, Associate Manager and South American team in quality control monitoring and report review as well as approval. He also supports the development of auditors, through direct participation, informal training programmes, on-the-job training and monitoring.
Arturo has been working with Preferred by Nature since June 2023.

- supporting the office for South America as representative for Chile of RA-Cert "Rainforest Alliance" since 2009
- serving as the representative of Preferred By Nature "NEPCon" for Chile.
