FSC - Global Development
Contribution by FSC International FSC Global Development (GD) was established in 2007 for the purpose of increasing FSC brand value through market development, marketing and trademark protection.
By developing a focus on services to help certificate holders and others who work to bring FSC products to the market gain market recognition and success, GD is dedicated to increasing the demand for certified forests globally.
GD has been working as well on a program to develop a licensing framework that will allow FSC to better manage its work with trademarks and registrations. Additionally there is a strong focus on ensuring the trademark is registered globally and adequately and vigorously protected.
Working with a global network of certificate holders, certifiers, National Initiatives and other partners we have developed a new program of services, marketing efforts, market development activities and licenses and will be implementing these exciting program as we move through 2009.
