18 Denmark printing houses
Prinfo Denmark, a consolidation of 35 Danish graphic companies, has obtained the largest FSC multi-site certificate issued to date in Denmark.
The certificate, which covers 18 of Prinfo Denmark's partner organizations, was issued by the Rainforest Alliance based on NEPCon’s services.
Quality and environmental coordinator Jens Oksborg Neergaard says: “We decided to go for FSC because we are experiencing increasing demands for printed matters carrying the FSC label”. The PrinfoDenmark group delivers communication and graphic services to around 20,000 commercial clients in Denmark. In addition to its printing services, Prinfo also provides many IT-based services including online solutions, Intranet, web portals, etc.
The philosophy of the Prinfo group is to share solutions and costs of development. This principle also applies to FSC certification: “The process is much easier for our partner organizations, because much of the administrative burden can be carried by the central organization”, says Jens Oksborg Neergaard.
The Danish Prinfo group is part of the wider Prinfo Scaninavia community, which consists of around 75 companies with more than 1,000 employees and a total annual turnover of more than 116 million EUR.
