Join us for an in-depth exploration of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and its impact on Ukraine’s forestry and agriculture businesses. This free seminar offers a closer look into the regulatory requirements, practical strategies and certification solutions to support alignment efforts. Participants will also explore sustainability initiatives, including regenerative agriculture and carbon certification.

 

With the EUDR deadlines approaching and implementation details evolving, now is the time to assess your company’s approach. Preferred by Nature experts, alongside industry specialists, will discuss the role of certification, due diligence tools and supply chain management strategies tailored for EUDR alignment.

This seminar is structured into two distinct sessions, allowing participants to register for the day most relevant to their industry:

  • 10 June, 9:00-17:00 – Forestry & Wood industry focus: Tailored for professionals in forestry, wood processing, and trading, this session covers EUDR alignment strategies, Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™) and Preferred by Nature solutions, business perspectives, and carbon services.
     
  • 11 June, 9:00-16:00 – Agriculture focus: Designed for farmers, soy exporters, and other agriculture stakeholders, this session highlights EUDR requirements for soy, regenerative agriculture initiatives, and carbon certification opportunities.

Who should attend?

This seminar is designed for professionals from forestry, agriculture and related industries, including foresters, state administration representatives, government officials, regulatory bodies, wood and paper processing companies, traders, farmers, exporters and researchers/academics.

Participants may register for either the Forestry session (10 June) or the Agriculture session (11 June) based on their sector and interest. The sessions are conducted in English, with simultaneous Ukrainian translations.

 

How to register

We invite interested parties to join us on 10 or 11 June 2025 at Hotel Taurus, Lviv. Registration is free of charge. Please complete the registration form below by 30 June 2025 to secure your seat. Registration is binding; however, if you cannot attend, you may transfer your seat to a colleague.

Important: Please specify in the “Comments” field of the registration form which session you are signing up for (e.g., Forestry day or Agriculture day).
 

This seminar is part of Preferred by Nature’s ongoing efforts to support EUDR implementation globally and the transition towards sustainability in agricultural and forestry supply chains.
