How can certification help you comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation?
Explore how certification can support your EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) alignment journey in this free webinar. Drawing on research from the Harmonitor project, our experts will examine the role of certification in due diligence systems, its alignment with regulatory requirements, and practical strategies for businesses navigating EUDR obligations.
The EUDR introduces significant new requirements for companies placing regulated commodities on the EU market. As the implementation deadline approaches, businesses need effective and cost-efficient solutions to meet their compliance obligations.
This session will provide a deeper understanding of how certification schemes can be leveraged within due diligence systems to support EUDR alignment.

This webinar is ideal for businesses involved in forestry, agriculture, and the trade of EUDR-regulated commodities. It is particularly relevant for sustainability managers, supply chain professionals, regulatory specialists, and anyone responsible for due diligence and compliance with EUDR requirements.

About the Harmonitor project
The Harmonitor project, funded by the European Union, is Horizon Europe's Coordination and Support Action (CSA) contributing to the establishment of circular bio-based systems focused on reversing climate change, restoring biodiversity, and protecting air, soil, and water quality along the supply chain of biological resources and industrial value chains. The project aims to enhance the effectiveness of certification schemes and labels. One of its goals is to determine the costs and benefits of certification for certified companies. The project is coordinated by SQ Consult B.V. and executed in collaboration with DBFZ German Biomass Research Center, Utrecht University, Radboud University, SQ Consult, Biomass Technology Group, Rina, agroVet, Global Risk Assessment Services, and Preferred by Nature.
