Dr. Suresh Gairola, FSC India Country Director
Dr. Suresh Gairola is a forestry professional with over 38 years of experience in forest management, wildlife conservation, public policy and environmental law. A former Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, he has held key leadership positions in the Government of India and state governments to help shape sustainable forestry practices. At FSC India, he plays an important role in advancing responsible forestry initiatives across the country.

Anuj Sharma, FSC India Deputy Country Director
Anuj Sharma has over 14 years of experience in sustainable forest management and value chain development. He leads business and market development initiatives for FSC in India, working to establish sustainable value chains across the paper, rubber, solid wood and textile industries. His expertise spans policy implementation, market transformation and responsible forestry practices.

Michelle Wong, Deputy Regional Director, FSC APAC Office
Michelle Wong has over two decades of experience in environmental science and policy. She has worked across air quality, climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable building practices. At FSC APAC, she leads efforts to facilitate compliance with EUDR to drive sustainability in the forest commodity sectors and promote nature-positive corporate initiatives.

Aadarsh Mohandas, Regional Director - South Asia, Preferred by Nature
Aadarsh Mohandas oversees Preferred by Nature’s operations in South Asia to ensure the delivery of credible sustainability services. He has extensive experience in auditing, consulting and market-driven sustainality solutions. With expertise in forestry, agriculture and certification schemes, he plays a key role in supporting responsible sourcing and enhancing supply chain practices.
