Adapting to the EUDR: What Vietnamese businesses should know

Explore the latest developments in the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) at our seminar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This free-of-charge event is designed to help Vietnamese businesses navigate emerging compliance standards and secure their supply chains for the European market.

The EUDR establishes due diligence requirements to prevent deforestation and forest degradation by tracking the origins of key commodities and ensuring responsible sourcing practices. The regulation aims to promote transparency and accountability in international trade.

At this seminar, our experts will focus on updates on the EUDR along with critical actions companies must take now to meet the requirements. We’ll also explore how new technological tools and risk assessment methods are strengthening due diligence practices in today’s market.

Additionally, attendees will learn how they can leverage recognised certification schemes – such as the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™), Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Rainforest Alliance – to demonstrate EUDR compliance. This is a good opportunity for Vietnamese exporters and importers, especially those dealing in rubber, timber, coffee, and other key commodities, to secure their position in the competitive European market.

Who should attend?

This seminar is beneficial for Vietnam-based companies in agriculture, forestry, manufacturing and commodity trading. It is also relevant for supply chain and sustainability managers focused on global trade, as well as regulatory and compliance professionals.

The seminar will be delivered in Vietnamese, with English translation available.
