The world’s smallest bird, the hummingbird, feeds exclusively on nectar, visiting hundreds of flowers each day.  Over millions of years, this tiny ecological warrior has evolved in symbiosis with the plants that produce its’ precious nectar. Their fates are intertwined: if the flowers disappear, so will the hummingbird, and vice versa.
