Phong Le Hong
Forestry Expert
Le Hong is responsible for improving the sustainable forest management practices in Vietnam. He helps forest owners in achieving forest certification and facilitate the linkages between timber producers and processors with an emphasis on Acacia value chains.
As a Forestry Expert, Le Hong is involved in designing and implementing capacity building in silvicultural and forest certification for forest owners related partners in Vietnam. These helps them to apply best forest management practices and achieve forest certification, to verify their responsible management practices.
"Sustainable forest management and certification has an important role in using forest resources sustainability and improving the livelihood of people who depend on the forest. This is the motivation that drives me to work with Preferred by Nature."
