Alex serves as a global staff resource for policies, systems, quality monitoring and training for an array of certification services implemented across Assurance regions.
Based in Central Europe, Alex overall responsibility is to uphold Preferred by Nature’s mission to support better land management and business practices that benefit people, nature, and the climate and contribute to identifying, pursuing, and implementing opportunities where Preferred by Nature can have a positive influence.
Alex serves as a global staff resource for policies, systems, quality monitoring and training for forest management (FM), LegalSource and controlled wood (CW) certification services implemented across Assurance regions. He supports the Forestry and Supply Chain Programme Managers in developing and maintaining systems to comply with third-party accreditations and Preferred by Nature requirements and training and quality monitoring efforts.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and a master’s degree in Eco-Management. He has passed the related Preferred by Nature Lead Auditor courses.
