Krista is responsible for ensuring consistent management of legal agreements and providing oversight and support in the development and maintenance of agreement processes.
During my studies, I developed a passion for environmental law and environmental protection in general, so I wanted to work in a place that shares my passion. For me, it is important to finish my working day knowing that I did my part for the world to become a better and more environmentally friendly place.
Krista reviews and approves Preferred by Nature agreements, monitors agreement execution, expiration, extension, and/or renewal, as well as advises and provides direct legal support to Preferred by Nature staff.
Krista started her legal career in the Administrative Court of the Republic of Latvia as a judge’s assistant and later worked in the legal department of the Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment “BIOR”. Her area of focus is administrative law. However, she has always been passionate about environmental law and to be able to work in an international organisation.
Krista joined Preferred by Nature in 2019.
