FSC® and PEFC certification, EU Deforestation Regulation

Given the evolving landscape of the Polish wood market, this year's training offers a unique opportunity to enhance your expertise in sourcing FSC-certified materials. Our focus will be on a deep exploration of the FSC Controlled Wood Standard (FSC-STD-40-005) and the utilisation of recycled materials. Additionally, we will address topics directly impacting your organisation, including the new EU Deforestation Regulation.

Our training programme is thoughtfully designed to cater to all levels of proficiency. We extend our invitation to both newcomers embarking on their certification journey and seasoned professionals seeking to expand or refresh their knowledge. Participants can choose between one or two days of training based on their specific interests and skill levels, with two distinct groups:

1. Basic Level. Tailored for individuals representing companies seeking certification, those recently certified, or those seeking a step-by-step understanding of the certification process and how to prepare for it.
2. Advanced Level. Designed for representatives from well-established certified companies with a mature CoC system or those interested in in-depth discussions of FSC and PEFC standards, including policies, current interpretations and directives.

Training schedule:

October 11, 2023: FSC and EUDR Certification
October 12, 2023: PEFC Certification

Our training sessions will be conducted by highly qualified experts from Preferred by Nature, and we are honoured to have Krzysztof Jodłowski, the PEFC representative in Poland, as a guest speaker.

How to Register:

To secure your spot in the training, please submit your application by completing the form no later than 30 September, 2023.

Participation Fees:

For Preferred by Nature clients:

• Single training day: PLN 850 + 23% VAT per person
• Both training days: PLN 1,150 + 23% VAT per person

For other participants:

• Single training day: PLN 1,100 + 23% VAT per person
• Both training days: PLN 1,400 + 23% VAT per person

If multiple individuals from the same company wish to attend, Preferred by Nature client prices apply.

The participation fee covers refreshments, lunch and dinner after the first day of training.

Participants will receive a certificate confirming their participation and training materials, which will be sent via email after the training.

Accommodation:

Please note that accommodation is not included in the participation fee.
