Maria is a FSC Chain of Custody Lead Auditor. She is responsible for planning and conducting FSC CoC audits in Canada.

Maria has a working and research background in forestry. She planned and conducted field investigations involving forest productivity, light use efficiency and pest/disease control of forest plantations in Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela.
In 2018, Maria completed the FSC Chain of Custody Lead Auditor Training and began working as an FSC CoC auditor.
Maria joined Preferred by Nature in 2018.
