The Forest Stewardship CouncilTM (FSCTM) trademarks guarantee consumers that the products they buy come from responsible sources. This enables consumers to choose products that support forest conservation, offer social benefits and allow the market to provide an incentive for better forest management.
In its efforts of maintaining credibility, the FSC works to ensure that its trademarks are used correctly by requiring certificate holders to submit the trademark use request to verify compliance against the Requirements for use of the FSC Trademarks by Certificate Holders Standard. Access the FSC-STD-50-001 V2-0 here. Only those who have obtained authorisation from a Trademark Agent are permitted to use the FSC Trademarks.
The Preferred by Nature Trademark Portal enables FSC certificate holders, who have been certified by Preferred by Nature, to submit trademark requests, upload graphics and keep track of all open, closed and pending cases.
